SIMPLE ELOPEMENT
Package Includes: Performing a Ceremony and Scheduling a Phone Rehearsal.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SIMPLE ELOPEMENT
The event requires a 3-day notice for last-minute ceremonies.
The Officiant Fee includes a retainer and ceremony fees.
The retainer fee is non-refundable.
These fees will be explained in more detail in a Confirmation Email.
Fee may be higher for holidays** See below for a list of holidays.
We will confirm this appointment before the event - a phone rehearsal.
Details of the phone rehearsal will be stated in the Confirmation Email.
We will go over the details and "rehearse" via the phone at that time.
You both do not need to be available for the phone rehearsal - only one of you is fine.
Please be thoughtful and START ON TIME.
Officiant cannot guarantee their time if the ceremony is more than 15 minutes late.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
If the ceremony includes a sand ceremony, unity candle, or any other special feature, the client is responsible for furnishing all equipment needed. Officiant agrees to arrive at the wedding location listed on the Confirmation Email at the agreed time. Client understands that they must adhere to these times but Officiant does understand weddings do not always go as planned and will accommodate for weddings that start later than scheduled, as time permits. Officiant will allow for a 15-minute block of time to give plenty of time for unexpected delays.
KIRKWOOD PACKAGE for $75
Available April to October

Full payment is due to hold the date and is non-refundable.
This package has a guest limit of 10 people if at a park you did not reserve.
The phone rehearsal will occur 1 to 2 hours before start time on the day of event.
Please be thoughtful and START ON TIME.
Officiant cannot guarantee their time if the ceremony is more than 10 minutes late.

FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE OR MAKE PAYMENT
Carolyn Burke (Officiant) may terminate the Confirmation Email upon a Couple’s failure to reply to emails/phone calls/texts or make a payment for more than 48 hours after delivery of written reminder notice to Couple of such failure.

DELUXE ELOPEMENT
Package Includes : Officiant and 5-Minute Ceremony , Floral Bouquet for a Bride and Boutonniere for a Groom, and Scheduling a Phone Rehearsal. Photographer for 30-Minute Session and 30+ Images
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DELUXE ELOPEMENT PACKAGE
50% deposit or full payment (if 30 days or less) is required to reserve this package.
The balance is due 10 days before your elopement date.
Elopements are ceremonies that are planned no more than 8 months ahead.
This fee does not include lodging or dining at the locations listed on ElopeInStLouis.com or found on your own.
In Missouri, just a date, time and location, a Missouri marriage license, and the two of you.
In Illinois you must provide a Marriage License from the same county where the elopement will take place (ex. Madison, St Clair).
**Additional travel expense may apply depending on the location of the event.
**Additional floral expense may apply depending additional needs of one bouquet and boutonniere.
**Additional photographer expense may apply if you want more time with the photographer.
**Additional fee may apply if you have more than 15 guests.
**Holiday elopements and certain locations (based on distance) may be subject to additional fees.
The Deluxe Elopement Package is designed as an elopement for a couple and up to 15 guests.
In Missouri or Illinois, witnesses may not be required. (Check with the Recorder of Deeds to be sure.)
No more than 15 guests are permitted without prior arrangement with the Officiant and the Location.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR DELUXE ELOPEMENTS:
If you book a Deluxe Elopement Package and cancel, there is a $150 non-refundable cancellation fee.
Any deposits made may be applied to a later date within 6 months of cancellation with a $40 Change The Date Fee added. .
Please coordinate with the location and Officiant so that you can be assured the date is available and to discuss details.
If we cancel (very rare), we give a full refund and attempt to find a replacement officiant only (different rates apply).
PHOTOGRAPHER TERMS:
The professional photographer will provide a 30-minute photo session at the ceremony site and provide 30+ images of high-resolution images and the image rights within a time frame not to exceed four weeks from elopement date. Additional expense will apply if you want more time with the photographer. Images are chosen at the discretion of the photographer and may be edited. Photo retouching or photo albums are available for an additional fee (please inquire). Client agrees that we may use still photographs for such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and website content. The photographer is announced (7) days before the event date.
FLOWER BOUQUET AND BOUTONNIERE TERMS:
Client has a choice of a bouquet and boutonniere shown on website. The package price is not altered if Client decides to provide their own flowers or none at all. A professional florist will make a bouquet and a coordinating boutonniere. They're fresh, beautiful and add a special gracious touch for tradition and elegance. Additional fees may be needed if a same-sex couple requires two matching bouquets. Additional floral expense may apply depending additional needs of one bouquet and one boutonniere.
MARRIAGE LICENSE :
Client understands that it is the client's responsibility to acquire a valid marriage license in the state where the wedding ceremony will take place and the marriage license must be on the premises when the ceremony is performed. Client understands that failure to have these legal documents means the Officiant cannot legally perform the ceremony and is under no obligation to do so. Officiant may at her discretion perform a symbolic ceremony, which will have no legal merit, and may perform another ceremony in private for the Client once the legal documents are presented, for an additional fee. Client will consult with the local court or city clerk to find the exact requirements for the client's area.
CANCELLATION and REFUND TERMS:
The agreement Officiant to perform the ceremony is subject to proven detention by accidents, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of God, or any other legitimate conditions beyond their control. If such circumstances arise, all reasonable efforts will be made by Officiant to find a replacement. Should Officiant be unable to secure a replacement to perform the ceremony, client shall receive a full refund. Client agrees that in all circumstances, officiant liability shall be exclusively limited to an amount equal to the performance fee and that Officiant shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from any breach of contract.
$150 is non-refundable unless Officiant cancels the wedding.
